This was amongst the best show we’ve seen from them. Sweetie and I agreed that they were having a hell of a night. Rich was noticed mailing in the guitar during Jealous Again. Chris made a point to throw out a little salt, saying that times are changing and someone is taking a picture of the band during a song. They did both of those harmonica jams. The Moonlight Cruisers were having a hell of a night. Chris joked about going back to the beginning, pointing to the Masson sign on the building. We agreed that this is probably the best show we’ve seen by them. Sweetie noticed that they were playing some hits for the wine-todelers. The first harmonica jam is the intro to Black Moon Creeping. Sweetie and I really love those harmonica jams. They also did the one that sounds like Midnight Rambler during Thorn In My Pride. Luther is definitely a worthy lead guitarist for this band. We really liked Luther’s playing in Bad Luck Blue Eyes Goodbye. They played Oh Well as the encore and I was stoked! The show included more hits than usual. They played Cursed Diamond and Wiser Time for the first time. Wiser Time had an extended jam with dueling solos by Rich & Luther. The Fillmore show on 12/20/2008 was another one we are torn between. We had just heard Tom Petty play Oh Well earlier this month.
